The design of Altas Viator is characterized by its motion effect, emphasized by Hella lights and a clear contrast of colours. The main white colour is interrupted by black design fragments, creating a visually striking aesthetic.

ALTAS AUTO, a mini bus producer for Europe, had the ambition to introduce its own bus brand. Seeing an unexploited market niche between mini and big buses, they chose a midi bus as their target for development. The result was Altas Viator, a design that follows current automotive trends of sharp lines and aggressive looks. This design not only stands out but also serves as a testament to the brand's innovative spirit.

The realization technology of Altas Viator is as impressive as its design. The bus frame is made of special stainless steel, with exterior and interior finishing elements made of state-of-the-art, light composite materials. These materials offer excellent thermal and sound insulation parameters. The bus elements and components are provided by prominent suppliers in the automobile industry, ensuring quality and durability.

Altas Viator is not just about aesthetics; it's also about functionality. The bus features comfortable seats, spacious compartments and shelves for storage, and powerful heating and ventilation equipment. It offers a comfortable journey at night time with pleasant light emitted from the ceiling and subtle LED panels marking the window area and pathway. For the comfort of passengers, there is personal light available above the seats with an individual comfort management function.

The project started in June 2017 and finished in September 2018 in Lithuania. It was exhibited at the IAA Commercial Vehicles exhibition in September 2018. Altas VIATOR is a perfect combination of engineering logic and eye-catching design elements. It reflects the brand's ideology and values and was awarded Silver in A' Vehicle, Mobility and Transportation Design Award in 2019.
